The Early Christian basilica of Chrysopolitissa, erected in the 4th century
The latin Church (13th/14th century AD)
The Gothic church lies to the north of the Early Christian basicalla of Chrysopolitissa was brought to light by the excavations of the Department of Antiguities, between 1968-1970. It is believed that this was the Latin cathedral of Paphos. It was probably built towards the end of the 13th or begining of the 14th century AD and was renovated in the mid-16th century. During the Early Ottoman period the church was abandoned and gradually fell into ruins.
