The teams competing are Olympiacos B.C., Aris B.C., Crvena Zvezda and Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Olympiacos B.C. in particular is one team I want to point out if you are interested in going. They won both the EuroLeague and Greek Basketball League titles last season. Whoever wins the EuroLeague is generally considered the best team in Europe, so for basketball fans in Cyprus, this is a great opportunity to watch one of Europe’s top teams in person. Olympiacos is also bringing their EuroLeague and Greek trophies to Cyprus for fans with tournament season tickets to see and take photos with on September 12th. There will also be a meet and greet tomorrow, September 12th, giving fans the chance to meet members of the Olympiacos team in person. If you are interested in going this weekend, tickets are available as tournament passes, which give you access to all the games from September 11-13. General passes are €50 for adults, €35 for students and ages 4-18, and a family pass for 2 adults and 2 children is €135. There are also VIP Tournament Passes available, which include courtside seating and unlimited food and drinks throughout the tournament. Since the tournament is expected to attract a lot of basketball fans, I recommend getting your tickets early if you want to make sure you get a good seat. I think if you are looking to see high level basketball and you live in Cyprus, this is your best way to do that without having to travel to another country, and you still get to see the best Europe has to offer if you see Olympiacos.
