Parko Paliatso Luna Park Ayia Napa

In Ayia Napa most people visit for the night life including the clubs, bars and different events or if not that the beaches such as Nissi Beach, but if you’re looking for a change of pace here is something you can do. Parko Paliatso on Nissi Avenue, right on the main strip of Ayia Napa, in the heart of town is Cyprus largest amusement park. It is a convenient and fun way to spend an evening or have a night out for anyone visiting whether you’re with friends, family or on a date.

At Parko Paliatso the rides are divided into different categories. There are extreme rides, there are 5 of those with one of them being their main attraction, the SlingShot. The SlingShot is one of the most extreme rides at Parko Paliatso, launching riders high into the air at incredible speed and reaching around 90 meters above the ground. Don’t worry because not all of the extreme rides are this extreme, some are just the right amount of scary and fun.

But if the extreme rides aren’t your thing there are still two other categories. Family rides is the second one. Some featured rides include a big Ferris wheel where you get a great view over Ayia Napa. I definitely recommend this ride for everyone. It’s nice overlooking Ayia Napa while you can talk and enjoy the view, and there is also a more family friendly roller coaster. Lastly there are kiddie rides which are perfect if you are bringing young children.

There is also a selection of carnival style games such as basketball shooting games, shooting games and knocking the cans games along with other classic fairground games where you can try and win prizes. There is also food, drinks and snacks you can get if you’re looking to take a break and eat.

One thing I like about Parko Paliatso  is that you don’t have to pay just to enter the park. You can buy tokens and pay for the rides you want to go on, or you can get a wristband if you plan on going on a lot of rides. The current wristband prices are €52 for adults and kids 10 and up, €40 for kids 8 and up and €25 for kids ages 2 to 7. Prices can change, so I would check before going if you want to know the current prices.

Parko Paliatso  also stays open late, so you don’t have to rush through everything. The opening and closing times can change a little depending on the time of year and the season, but it generally opens around 5:00 PM and stays open until around 12:30 AM, with Saturday nights going until around 1:00 AM. This makes it a good option if you’re looking for something to do in the evening or later at night.

As I mentioned before Parko Paliatso is located right on the main strip of Ayia Napa so it is in a very convenient location where there is lots of things to do, places to eat and drink or just walk around and explore if you are looking for more to do before or after Parko Paliatso.

Overall I think Parko Paliatso can be a fun place for anyone to visit whether it’s a date, family or friends and any ages due to their different types of rides, games and convenient location.
