Neon mall Paphos

Neon Mall is a newer shopping destination in Paphos and has become a convenient place for both locals and visitors to shop, grab something to eat, or simply spend some time. Many Paphos residents know that there has been a mall in that building for a long time, going all the way back to 2008 when it originally opened as the Mall of Paphos. It ended up closing in 2013, and the building was left abandoned all the way up until 2023. During those years, many people referred to it as the abandoned mall or simply as what used to be the Mall of Paphos.
But in 2023, they reopened under the name Neon Mall. It started off feeling a little empty inside, as you may expect with it first opening up, but now in 2026, I consider it a real shopping center where you can definitely spend some time shopping, grab something to eat, and find plenty of different stores all in one place.

A great thing about Neon Mall is how convenient it is for many Paphos residents. It is located on Dimokratias Avenue, one of the city’s main commercial roads, and is close to the entrance to Paphos. It also has a lot of parking available.

Once you get inside the mall, you’ll find three floors, with some notable stores being Superhome Center, which is a household products store, and a Lidl supermarket. Some other notable stores in Neon Mall are Kiabi for family fashion, Cosmos Sport for sportswear and footwear, Celio for men’s clothing, Sfera for fashion, and Mamas & Papas for baby and children’s products.

If you are looking to grab something to eat, they don’t have a huge variety of options, but there are still some good places to choose from. They have sit-down restaurants like Wagamama, which is a Japanese-inspired Pan-Asian restaurant, and PAUL Cafe, which is coming soon and is a sit-down cafe/restaurant where you can have pastries, frappe, and coffee. If you are looking for a quick meal, there is also a Burger King coming soon. There is also an arcade if you are looking for something else to do or want to take a break from shopping.

With all these different places to shop, eat, and spend time within the mall, it is a huge improvement compared to when it first reopened in 2023. It went from being a very dead place with not so many stores to a place with a more lively atmosphere and much better options.

It is still not the biggest mall you can find in the area. If you are looking for a mall with even more options for stores, food, and entertainment, I recommend Kings Avenue Mall, which we have a full article about.

But what Neon Mall does have over it is convenience. As I said, it is very convenient and has lots of parking, so it is much easier to be in and out if you are looking to make a quick stop. Even though it is more lively than when it first opened, it is still a much quieter and more peaceful mall than Kings Avenue Mall in comparison.

Overall, Neon Mall has come a long way since it first reopened in 2023 and has become a much better shopping destination in Paphos. It may not have the same amount of stores and entertainment as Kings Avenue Mall, but if you are looking for somewhere convenient with plenty of parking, a good selection of shops, places to eat, and a quieter atmosphere, Neon Mall is definitely worth checking out.
