Latchi Beach

Latchi Beach is one of my personal favorite beaches in all of Cyprus because of a few different reasons. One of those reasons is how beautiful the scenery is, from the mountain views to how clear the water is.

. You can see straight through it. Even the drive down to the beach is beautiful. I really feel like this beach has some of the best natural scenery.

Another reason this is a personal favorite of mine is how private this beach is. There are parts of the beach where there is almost no one else there. It is really peaceful to have a quiet place with very few people to lay by the sea or relax in the water with privacy.

The beach has sand with pebbles all over it. If you like collecting or skipping rocks, it is a good place for you, but not as much if you prefer just to have soft sand the whole time.

The water, as I said before, is crystal clear. When I was younger, I would try and catch fish under the water, as you can see a lot of them swimming. It is also a really pretty view under the water to look at. One thing I will also say about the water is that it does get deep pretty quickly compared to some other beaches in Cyprus, so if you aren’t a strong swimmer, be sure not to go too far out too quickly.

They also have water sports at Latchi. Last time I went, me and four other family members went on a ride where we got dragged by a small boat on a couch-like floaty going very fast with quick turns. It is a very fun experience, and you get to see a lot of great views while getting dragged around.

I think if you are looking for a relaxing beach day that is more private, with some of the most beautiful natural scenery and clear water, this is without a doubt the beach for you.
